Certification Criteria

  1. The DLG QM-Wine* Audit of the wine-producer

    • On-site plausibility test
    • Compliance with HACCP regulations
    • Compliance with ISO regulations
    • Good professional practice
  2. Sensory examination and product analysis

    • Sensory tests by DLG experts, valuing the product as “VERY GOOD” or “GOOD”
    • Chemical analysis by accredited laboratories (i.e. authenticity of the grape variety, absence of pesticide residues, or banned additives and preservatives)
  3. Control of all wine-making activities, from production to packaging

    • Transport safety
    • Improvements
    • Filtration
  4. Identification test for bottled wines

    • In accordance with the rest of the batch as regards to the sensory and chemical tests
  5. Approval

    • Award of the DLG Quality Mark with control number
